• During Cornell Reunion Weekend 2005, we collected signatures from more than 500 alumni opposed to the construction of a parking lot on the present site of Redbud Woods. The vast majority of signatories threaten to withhold future financial contributions to the University if does not preserve Redbud Woods.

• Now, we're taking the Alumni Pledge to the internet. Please visit the Pledge page and add your name to the list of alumni supporters!

• Please spread the word to other alumni! You can refer them to our website (www.redbudwoods.org), or ask them to email alumbuddies@gmail.com with the information (name, year, college) requested on the Pledge page. You might try using the Alumni Directory to locate others who wouldn't want the university to make this terrible mistake!

• You can also write a short letter (less than 250 words) to the Ithaca Journal. You can email it to the Journal opinion editor, jcarberry@ithaca.gannett.com. Include contact information such as name, phone number, and address.

• Contact the Cornell administration. Tell them who you are and why they should save Redbud Woods!
